Our premises in Sudbury contain a retail shop, workshop and mail order department.
The business is run by sole proprietor, Peter Jonathan Hunt, therefore there are occasions when the shop is closed while Mr Hunt goes shopping, takes parcels to the post office, attends the odd model railway exhibition or is out chasing blondes. Also the shop doorbell can't always be heard when machinery is running in the workshop or the computer is being used in the studio upstairs. Therefore it is essential to telephone before visiting and advisable to telephone when you do arrive outside the shop.
Colin Dowling, who is our genial tame builder of great artistic skill can be contacted by telephone on 01702 542 456 or E-mail, colinbugs@aol.com. You may also telephone for friendly, totally prejudiced but truthful advice and help.
The dead scale layout, West Mersea, is available to view when you visit Sudbury. The East Anglian Area Group of the Scale Seven Group meet on the last Sunday of each month (second Sunday in December). If you would like to attend a meeting, telephone the day before to check the meeting is taking place then just turn up and introduce yourself. Members are encouraged to bring their latest work to display. If you intend to operate an engine it must be to S7 standards and be fitted with a decoder, though this can be fitted at the meeting if required.
Anything you need just telephone and ask, we are always at your service with a smile and friendly advice.
